For those who are interested in nature's wonders, we suggest visiting the famous Koneprusy caves that were discovered during the forties in the last century. The caves were presumably formed during the Devonian period, around 400 million years ago. The caves vary in height (three levels in total), their combined length is more than 2 km while the visitor's route is around 600 metres. One of the things, that is most remarkable about the caves is the fact that around the fifteenth century, the upper level was used as a secret workshop for minting coins. One of the breathtaking wonders of the caves is stalactites and stalagmites that were formed over the last 1.5 million years
